Mapster: A tool for creating custom topographic maps

Mapster is a tool for creating topographic maps of any size, and includes the possibility of adding other features. It works by interfacing with the Microsoft TerraServer online database of topographic maps.

Mapster lets you choose any size map; it can draw in a nice map legend; it can draw UTM grids and edge ticks on the map; and it can draw latitude/longitude marks and edge ticks on the map. See the screen shots page to see these features in action.

Interested? Download it, compile it, and try it out. Right now, I have made a Windows, Linux, and a Mac OS X version.
